Mr. Beast dissed Kevin Hart in a silly new photo, leaving fans cackling. They seem to be reading into it as they anticipate a Kanye West appearance, too

Mr. Beast is known for connecting with some big names, so it was a bit startling when he seemed to burn a bridge.

The YouTube legend posted two photos next to Kevin Hart where they were both cheesing big for the camera. Mr. Beast jokingly captioned the photo, “Hanging out with Kai Cenat,” referencing the striking similarity in appearance between the comedian and Kai, a breakthrough content creator.

However, it wasn’t the silly caption that caught people’s attention, but rather the immense height difference between the pair. “I didn’t realize how tall you are ’til I saw this pic,” wrote one fan in the comments. Another said: “Are you really that tall or is Kevin really that short.”

To make matters worse, Mr. Beast underscored their height difference and doubled down. He posted one of the photos on X, formerly known as Twitter, where he confirmed that fans’ eyes weren’t deceiving them. Mr. Beast, whose real name is Jimmy, wrote: “All my comments on insta are saying I photoshopped this. Nope, Kevin Hart is just short.”

Fans went ahead and continued to tease Kevin, replying with photos of the star standing next to other celebrities for additional height comparisons. And, of course, a few people felt the need to drop their own photoshopped versions of the image to make it even more noticeable.

According to a post on X, Mr. Beast is 6’5 while Kevin confirmed on an episode of 60 minutes that he is 5’5, making the pair about a foot apart. A fan on X jabbed: “Kevin Hart is just enjoying the view from a lower vantage point.”

The duo’s shocking height wasn’t the only bit that startled fans. Many of them noticed a man, just out of focus, behind the two stars and wondered if that could be yet another famous friend. The man wore a yellow shirt and looked down at his phone, unconcerned by Mr. Beast and Kevin.

Immediately, fans speculated that may have been Kanye West. “Kanye just casually chilling in the background,” wrote a fan. Another said: “holup is that kanye.”

Other fans were quick to try to debunk the idea, arguing that the blurry man in the photo was actually NBA Analyst and former basketball player Kendrick Perkins. Plus, another pointed out that it would be unlikely for either to be hanging out with Kanye considering both Mr. Beast and Kevin publicly have very different opinions on controversial topics than the rapper. “You really think these guys would be hanging out with Kanye?!” said one fan.

Kevin previously told Big Boi: “I don’t agree with where [Kanye] is or the way he’s going about getting to the punchline or the point of what he’s doing. You know, I think we’re in a point in time that the world is being divided, and I think a large piece of the division that’s been promoted and amplified has come from the leader of the free world at times. I think that any promotion uplifts the division that’s been put upon us.”
